Body & Appearance
The Cue 2.0 has a very stylish feel to it. Its muted tones of blue and grey are a simple colour design that oddly works incredibly well on the body of the kit; it feels soave and sophisticated compared to some of the other kits out there that look like they’re designed for 18 year olds.
This is even evident in the box it comes in: a sleek, blue and black foldable magnetic design which encases the device. Maybe it’s just the art deco font Cue has chosen, but it feels more like a gadget from The Incredibles than it does a vaping kit.
The refillable pod is visible from the side of the device, while a 3 LED battery indicator system features too.
The Cue 2.0 has a good weighty feel to it as well. It doesn’t feel as cheap and plastic as other pod kits out there; it’s a strong piece of equipment.
In addition to this, it seems to be fingerprint proof too. The matte finish of the Cue 2.0 ensures it always looks sharp, even after your hand is through with it.
Furthermore, its perfect fit in hand and pocket.

Battery & Charging
Backed up with 850 mAh of firepower, the Cue 2.0 has a solid battery that is designed for the use of up to 2 pods before charging, but will probably last up to 2 days of vaping for most. It requires a USB Type-C cable, which is helpfully included in the package.
The 3 light LED indicator splits the Cue 2.0’s battery: all the lights will glow at 65% – 100% battery, 2 lights between 30% and 65%, and 1 light will glow when it is 30% and under. Thankfully, it only takes 40 minutes to get a full charge.
There aren’t too many other features to this kit, which is what makes it so great and user friendly. As with every great pod kit, the device works on inhale activation, so there’s no fiddly buttons or interface to play about with.

Pod & Coils
The Cue refillable pods contain built-in coils that work at a resistance of 0.8 Ohm, which are made from mesh to provide a fuller, denser flavour when vaporising E-Liquids.
The pods feature a snap-off top fill, however they can be a little tricky to remove, a little reminiscent of the first Caliburn models.
The plastic attachment sounds as though it breaks every time it is snapped off, and it has to be said that it probably wouldn’t take too much more force before the mechanism does indeed break.
Furthermore, the pods have to be inserted obliquely into the device and snapped into place, which can be a little tricky to first figure out.
What’s more, the same plastic snapping sound is heard when you remove the pod, which does leave you a little worried about the fragility of the pod.
A good tip would be to use the mouthpiece to manoeuvre the pod around. It looks like it could snap at times, but it’s stronger than it looks.

Using the Cue 2.0
The Cue 2.0 produces some really subtle flavours, and its hits are as smooth as butter.
Vaping the Banana Mandarin Seriously Pod Fill was a pleasure with this device; it really brought out all of the subtleties in the flavours without overpowering your tastebuds. The vapour doesn’t feel harsh against the throat, even when inhaling with depth.
For anyone seeking strong, sweet hits, the Cue 2.0 may not be the vape for you, but for those who want a device that vapes as smooth as it appears, look no further.
Here, the deeper the inhale, the deeper the flavour, and the Cue 2.0 hits the perfect spot of strong depth without feeling like your throats being attacked. Sometimes, the flavour does lack consistency, yet the Cue 2.0 challenges you to explore deeper and deeper through the layers of its smooth draws.
Who should get the Cue 2.0?
It’s a great kit for beginner level vapers looking for a device to take them on a journey through the sweet realms of the E-Liquid market.
Its soave sophistication stands out over the more colourful pod kits out there, and this is true of its vaping experience too. It’s a device for those who prefer their hits slick rather than scolding, polished rather than punchy.
It’s also an excellent choice for disposable users looking to dive into the bigger vaping world, and join the rising trend of switching from disposable to refillable vapes. The Cue 2.0 is hassle free, perfect for on-the-go vaping, and produces far less waste than regular disposable vaping would.
That’s not to say it sacrifices any flavour. Although the Cue 2.0’s flavour notes resonate with a lower frequency, they remain poignant and impactful.
The Cue 2.0 is a professional device that is not only easy on the eye, but just as easy to use. This makes it a must for vapers of all levels; it’s a fabulous tool to have in the toolkit.

Summary
Overall, the Cue 2.0 is a really fantastic pod kit that does all the basics that a refillable pod kit should be able to do, except this device definitely has its own unique style that sets it apart.
Probably geared toward an older audience that prefers a less sweet E-Liquid, the Cue 2.0 provides vapers with a mature experience, prioritising smooth and steady hits in a soave, palm friendly device.
It’s such a comfortable fit in both hand and pocket that it may even fool you into thinking you’ve had it for ages; it feels like a phone in some regard.
Although it's definitely at the higher echelons of the pod kit price spectrum, it's worth it. The Cue 2.0’s build quality is evident, and its vaping quality the same. This is a kit bound to enrich vaping experiences.
